The Vail Symposium recently hosted speakers Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, and Dr. Eben Alexander as this symposium frequently explores the subject of consciousness. The presentation was named “Life After Life”. Mishlove recently won the esteemed Bigelow Institute for Consciousness Studies Essay prize, featured here previously. Dr. Eben Alexander was a neurosurgeon who had a near death experience and miraculous healing. He wrote the book “Proof of Heaven”.
Mishlove has interviewed Alexander previously on his “New Thinking Allowed” Youtube channel, a favorite channel of mine.
This Vail Symposium exchange between Mishlove and Alexander is brilliant. Included in it, they really go after “science” for ignoring well conducted scientific studies which provide evidence for nonmaterialistic consciousness.
Alexander promotes meditation as the number one way to come closer to source. And they conclude that our purpose is to love.
