The following list of books sparked my interest during a stay at the Snowmass Benedictine Retreat Center. After I checked out from my room, I spent time going through their entire library of books, noting the ones I thought I’d be drawn to at this stage of my journey. This list doesn’t include those I’ve already read, such as “Be Here Now” by Ram Dass. I’ve finally bought a Kindle since the number of books I’ve read on spirituality exceeds the amount of library shelf space I have. I relished seeing how open minded this Cistercian resource was, evidenced by the books included in its collection.
