As I was killing time in an airport last week I walked through a bookstore and browsed at the best sellers featured in a rack in front of the store. Since I’m into breathing exercises lately, and have discovered how transformative they are, “BREATH: The new science of a lost art” by James Nestor jumped out at me.
Later I searched podcasts for interviews of Nestor and listened to this one featured below by Tim Ferriss. It is great. The interview is post-book so he has new things to add to what he researched to write the book. They cover many health and cutting health related subjects. It is an intelligent conversation.
My favorite default breathing exercise is this: 5 in, hold 2, 7 out, hold 2.
