
Eckhart Tolle explains in this video why he says if you want to do one practice to improve your spiritual life, to do this one: deep breathing. Elsewhere, he has said if you take three deep breaths a day for 30 days it will change your life. Of course doing it multiple times a day is even better.
This subject is timely for me because I was just beginning to focus more on my lower abdomen with my breath and I concur that there is a lively energy available with this practice. I think it is also opening-healing for the lower chakras and enhances inner stillness.
When I did Qigong every day the year of covid, our master taught us always to focus on the solar plexus. This is where the healing power comes from.
This advice is so simple and so spot on. Just do it!
