The Source of Everything? The Flower of Life.

This subject interests me, because around the first of this year, 2025, I became obsessed with roses. I feel that they are an important symbol of love, of creation, of peace, of beauty, of positivity, of nirvana, and of the heart chakra. And, if we know about the sacred geometry pattern that has been named “the flower of life” perhaps this intuitive fascination with roses is not so far fetched.

The flower of life is one of the most recognized symbols in the ancient and modern world. The sacred geometric pattern consists of 19 intersecting circles spaced evenly from each other that reveal an intricate pattern of overlapping symmetrical flowers.

The striking visual is meant to represent creation, the sacred masculine and divine feminine, and cycles of life, death, and rebirth. Some believe the flower of life is also a key that can unlock hidden knowledge of time and space within its petal-like structures.

The flower of life consists of 19 overlapping circles in hexagon form. It is found etched into granite dating back at least 6,000 years in Egypt, in the Osirian Temple in Abydos.

It’s a visual echo of the creation story, a blueprint for life itself, and a window into the interconnectedness of all things.

Many geometric patterns are found within the flower of life. The seven circles at its center are referred to as the seed of life. (below)

These symbols are used by some as powerful tools during meditation. They foster unity, harmony, regeneration, and interconnectedness.

The precise mathematical structure of the flower of life implies intelligent design, or intelligent source of all. Through this design, life blossoms and evolves.

Also contained within its pattern is the tripod of life:
