NDE: Mark Waller

Having listened to hundreds, if not thousands, of near death experience stories, I am less interested in them these days, but once in a while one comes along that resonates completely. The one by Mark Waller in this Jeff Mara interview qualifies. The concepts he presents have taken me many years to come to. I encourage any reader who happens upon this post to listen to the interview.

My notes from the interview (some may be paraphrased):

  • We are here to be kind, playful, and be in awe of the miracle of existence.
  • Everything is love. Consciousness is love.
  • Help those who are suffering, the vulnerable
  • Describing God is ineffable, but infinity might be close. God is everything that is.
  • We are in a dance with acceptance and surrender, where identity disappears, and selflessness is a gateway to union with God.
  • There is no reincarnation. There is a database of lives so that if we surrender and enter the database we can pull out any experience by any of the experiencers. That’s who we are temporarily. Ever identity we’ve had is shape-shifting since we were born so none of it exists but awareness is underlying it. Everything that occurs in consciousness doesn’t disappear.
  • Surrender is powerful. Surrender is like falling into everything.
  • Everything in physicality is made from stars, energy, consciousness. Consciousness is all, love, and eternal. Love and consciousness are the same thing.
  • It’s all fluid movement, vibration.
  • If you relate to life as an individual, you suffer. If you relate as awareness, life is beautiful.
  • Most of our problems are caused by thinking.
  • The greatest things happen when you stop trying. Surrender.
  • This side is “3D”. The other side is “love”. Love is unconditional, it is acceptance.
  • There is freedom when surrendering identity.

NOTE: I write these posts for myself, to make a record of my most important spiritual growth references, kind of like my spiritual diary.
