Today’s subject is a personal growth tool that is at your disposal that you may not be aware of. It is the power of your imagination. You can take this tool to higher and higher levels, as is typically the case of any spiritual growth tool. The subject is ancient, indigenous, and, New Age. If you do some self-reflection at the start of the New Year, this tool comes in handy, too.
No doubt you have heard the phrase, “If you can imagine it, it can come true”. Or, you’ve heard it said that anything you see in sci-fi will eventually come true. This is the general message of this blog post. The key is to apply it to your own life. Some notables such as Neville Goddard and Edgar Cayce and Landone Brown have delved into this subject and were modern day thought leaders on using the power of your imagination.
Native Americans went out and imagined they felt the rain coming down as an important part of their rain dance ritual and it worked. The key is to feel what it feels like to have the desired outcome manifested. Using the powerful tool of our imagination is timeless and it is useful in this age of human spiritual evolution. It can be applied to healing outcomes, too. There is power in groups such as the way the Native Americans practiced their rain dances, and there is power in the level of the vibration, too.
To understand this concept I highly recommend this following talk by Brian Scott on RealityRevolution, “Edgar Cayce: The Visionary Channel of the Imagination”. It covers a wide span of subjects (advanced) that will motivate you to dig deeper and explore at least some of the subjects covered in it. Towards the end of the talk, Scott recommends the book, “Seeing with the Mind’s Eye: The History, Techniques, and Uses of Visualization” by Nancy Samuels and Dr. Michael Samuels. Use the power of imagination as a healing tool, another topic by Samuels.
Brian Scott of RealityRevolution has delved into the “imagination” tool topic many times and has an impressive Youtube playlist of 30+ videos on the subject HERE.
Finally, a note about the photo up top. I have been to this spot in Central Park in New York City, not far from where John Lennon resided and was shot and killed. I sat there for quite a while (nearly two decades ago) and felt the energy which was peaceful and loving and amazing. Adults and children alike were captivated. The word, itself, is powerful. And the message of love and peace from John Lennon was spot on. Use this power of the imagination in the highest way possible, to bring greater love and peace to this world.
