How Does Compassion Fit Into Our Lives?

I’ve done volunteer work and I’ve been haunted by someone once telling me that my calling is compassion. I suppose you could say that to anyone, and you’d be correct. It takes an open heart and self love and recognition of oneness to make compassion a calling, so perhaps it is where we all want to be.

I no longer do the volunteer work I once embraced as my view of how to contribute to the world has changed and aligns more with the video below. Opportunities present themselves but we need to be awake to notice them and we need to participate in the world around us to have opportunities.
