Meditations to Open your Heart

The Ra Material (channeled works) suggests that heart opening is the job of our lifetime. Their overall message is light, love, and oneness with >50% service to others. This message resonates with me and in the past several years has become my focus. I’d been meditating 30″ twice a day for almost a year, when I decided to take a break and do guided meditations focused upon heart opening and chakra clearing. I used a variety of online guided meditations in this effort, especially “hemi sync” from Monroe Institute. I did this for about six months and am now back to meditating (once a day) with no expectations.

Note that I constantly update the “Online Meditations” tab above to include the sources I find useful.

Combining these meditations (below) is useful since they are complimentary.

1. Guided Meditation for opening the heart to unconditional love by Nature Flow. (25 minutes)

2. 28-minute guided meditation by Mary Maddux (go to #35 at this LINK)

3. Meditation for self-love by Sarah Hall. (26 minutes)

In addition to using heart opening guided meditations I have come up with the following sequence and use it multiple times throughout the day. This works well for me!

  1. I breathe in the breath of God
  2. My heart is the ocean
  3. I am at peace
  4. I love my heart.

This sequence really gets me open and expansive. I’ve done work with the heart-math institute but this is my own method of achieving that heart-mind connection. I do it when I’m waiting in line, I do it when I’m getting ready to do a yoga class, I do it when I first begin my meditation session, and I do it when I sit down to read. If I can maintain my composure, I do it when something or someone upsets me. Life flows from here in a most positive way…
